Crane coming down at CC

The large construction crane at the hotel and convention center is being taken down over the weekend.

On Saturday, the pieces were being removed by the crane itself, using a hydraulic lift that picks up the top of the crane just far enough to remove one section at a time, then lowers it to the level of the next section.

A crane operator said that the rest of the crane will be removed Sunday using a
large mobile crane that was brought in today.
